youth camps 2017

From 17 to 20 April, we will again be helping Ps Danny Macuha (MVPhilippines) and other leaders to run a Youth Discipleship camp for up to 350 young people from 50 churches across Occidental (West) Mindoro. We’ll also conduct leadership training with the pastors and visit some local Mangyan tribal villages.

Then from 20 to 22 April we will be hel[ping to run a youth camp for approx 100 youth on Mindanao island, as well as visiting some remote churches and participating in the CTC pastors’ graduation ceremony.

Please pray for the team and all who will attend the camp, that they will draw closer to God through their relationship with Jesus.

Would you also consider making a donation to help provide food and travel costs for the youth, many of whom must travel long distances from remote tribal villages and don’t have access to funds.

BREAKING NEWS 28 March 2017

We’ve just heard from Ps Danny (MV Philippines) that 6 people have died and others have been taken to hospital following a cholera outbreak in the Lagpan (Mangyan tribal) community on Mindoro island.

We visited this community with a team in 2015 and have run youth discipleship camps on Mindoro island every Easter over recent years. We've been blessed to witness many Mangyan youth following Jesus, and we're expecting approx 350 youth from Occidental (East) Mindoro at our next camp from 17 April ... so please pray that these young people will be able to join us.

UPDATE 30 March 2017

Another larger community - Biakalan is now also affected with cholera.

This latest cholera outbreak is potentially more serious as Biakalan and Tadyawan minority school serve as a hub for the surrounding villages.

Ps Danny and other church leaders are ready to go and take supplies such as rehydration medication, clean water and food to help prevent more deaths and serious sickness.

Please consider making a donation today to help provide this urgent aid, as well as longer term solutions such as clean water supplies.

As well as supporting these communities we also want to help Mangyan youth on Occidental (West) Mindoro to come to our Easter youth camp - but of course we must prioritise our assistance when precious lives are at risk.

Residents of other countries can donate through their nearest office ( or contact us for more information.

THANK YOU for your prayers and support!
